Gluten-Free Caramel Apple Scones

Servings 9 Scones

Ingredients

  • 1 Honeycrisp Apple
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp Allspice
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 Box Gluten-Free Scone Mix, 14 oz
  • 1 cup Cool Water
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • Salted Caramel Glaze *optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375

  2. Mix the first five ingredients in a bowl. Tossing to coat the apple in the spiced sugar mix.

  3. Combine the scone mix with water and oil in a large bowl.

  4. Fold in the spiced apples and caramel bits.

  5. Use an ice cream scoop to scoop 9 scones onto your baking sheet

  6. Bake for 13 minutes
